Wearing an ivory Bill Blass dress is Cameron Diaz attending the Broadway musical version of Shrek's opening night. Indeed, she's beaming with an elaborated yoke dress, but were not able to focus on the camera during the shot. Or, maybe she's trying to emulate Shrek's princess, Fiona? What do you think? Ok, to be sure, let's take another look at her.
Ok, perhaps it was just a mistake. She's beautiful. Fair enough? ;-)
Actually, Cameron Diaz was asked whether she’d consider portraying her movie character “Fiona” on stage, to which she undoubtedly replied: “No. Absolutely not. What they do up there ... is, to me, impossible. It’s wonderful, though. They’ve done such a great job. They worked really hard, and it really pays off.”
And here's what Cameron Diaz told the press after the Shrek Broadway musical experience: “It’s hilarious. There’s so many laughs. ... It’s great to see all the actors playing it together, because when we do it for the animated (films), we never see each other. We don’t work together.”
The event was held Sunday night at the Broadway Theatre in New York City (December 14, 2008).
